A sampling of visitors centres projects in the South Okanagan, including the restoration of a historic Kettle Valley Railway station, originally built in the early 1900s, into a tourist information centre complete with a multi-function public art space.
Additional projects include an addition to, and embellishment of, an old town fire hall into a welcome centre, wine store, and restaurant. Also shown is a short-listed proposal for a proposed visitors centre in Osoyoos, BC completed in collaboration with Bunting Coady Architects.
